Smitty Breaking News On QB Michael Vick

According to ESPN.com, Falcons’ quarterback Michael Vick has been indicted by a federal grand jury in relation to a dog-fighting operation that took place on his property in Virginia.

Now, the legal system still needs to take its course, but this might not stop NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell from taking early action. It is unknown whether or not Michael Vick will be gone for the entire 2007 season, but we recommend that fantasy owners start making other plans if Vick is your current fantasy starter.

Daunte Culpepper was just released by the Dolphins earlier today, which is something to keep in mind if you are in need. We wouldn’t be shocked if Atlanta tried to bring him in.
