Week 6: Random Shots

What To Do About Henry

We’ve been telling fantasy owners for over a week now to grab RB Andre Hall. He seems like the most unlikely of the Denver back-ups to land the starting job, therefore, that makes him the leading candidate. If that doesn’t make sense to you, well, that means that you must be new to fantasy football and unfamiliar with head coach Mike Shanahan’s coaching style. On top of that, we really do believe that Hall is more talented than Selvin Young, Cecil Sapp and Mike Bell. Past Hall, Sapp seems to be more of a Shanny-type of rusher than the rest. That doesn’t mean I’d take Sapp or Hall over Selvin, I’m just saying that fantasy owners should be careful if they’re relying on Sevlin Young alone to get them out of this mess. Hall should be owned in all larger leagues and deserves serious consideration in even medium size leagues. Not sure if you can afford to drop someone for Hall? Not sure how many of these Denver back-ups you should roster? Post your situations/questions on our Fantasy Football Forums.

Top Pick-Ups For Week 6

QB Kurt Warner

With Matt Leinart (collarbone) out for the season, Kurt Warner has a real shot at producing like a top 10QB.

RB Andre Hall

Henry may be able to delay his suspension, but many sources suggest a Henry suspension is sure to come. That means either Sapp, Young, Hall or Bell will become a top 10RB for as long as they start. Now, it is always possible that Denver makes a trade, but we think Hall has the skills to be a stud in that offense. He is worth a grab in decent size leagues. Be sure you don’t pass on Young to grab Hall… you almost just have to grab both, but all that depends on the size of your league. We actually own all four back-ups in our Expert Dynasty League, but that league is huge and we have more than a couple spots to fill for project-type players. Owning all four is worth it if you can afford it. It is crazy, but worth it.

RB Jason Wright

With Jamal Lewis banged up and questionable for week 6, Jason Wright is a nice grab this week and even a decent flex-option.

WR Bobby Engram

With Deion Branch out at least a couple of weeks, Bobby Engram all of the sudden has WR3 value. He has two TDs over the last three games. He is worth a roster spot and a start this week if you are in need at the position.
