Ronnie Brown Out For The Season
According to
MiamiHerald.com, Dolphins starting running back
Ronnie Brown is done for the season with a knee injury.
Brown went down in the second-half of Sunday’s game against the Patriots and it didn’t look good.
The runner did walk to the locker room under his own power, but as we reported yesterday, that doesn’t always mean that you haven’t torn your ACL. If an athlete injures just the ACL, and no other surrounding ligaments or cartilage, it is very possible to walk on the knee after it happens.
It is unknown at this point if
Brown’s ACL is torn, but according to reports,
Brown’s MRI results have revealed enough damage to
Brown’s knee that his season is likely done. More information might be released on this matter, but for the moment, it looks like
Brown is done.
FANTASY TAKE: Running back
Jesse Chatman is now the Dolphins’ new starting running back. He might just play like a top 15RB (or better) from this point forward.
He shouldn’t be available in any larger leagues, but if he is, be sure you grab him ASAP! Tough break for
Ronnie Brown owners, as the rusher was playing like a top 5 talent.
