“I am just blown away by the aggressiveness of this site on a daily basis… Not even a sniff of training camp and someone is already thinking about week 1 [player projections]… Awesome… totally awesome.”

Counting down until Haimez40 responds to this
No kidding, thought for sure I’d see a comment from him by now…
Nice take on the carries though, different angle to look at it. LJ is definitely coming cheap right now and going behind guys like MJD and MBIII, which is nuts to me. I’m sitting at the 9 spot in one of my leagues and am going to see if I can get him with my 2nd pick!
It just comes down to value here. LJ has a ton of draft value. One isn’t drafting him to score 20+ TDs anymore, which means he just has to get 10 or so earn his draft value. Anything else and he is outperforming, which is the goal in the end… having guys that outperform their draft value.
In my redraft league i got AP with the second overall and then its snaked back to me 16 picks later and i was able to get LJ in the second round. I was shocked that he was still around for me to grab. By the way three picks later as the draft came back to me in the 3rd i got Braylon Edwards. I had a great draft and if AP and LJ can stay healthy i should have a great combo.
I agree with all four comments above.
My big concern is that we all know the Chiefs will stink in 2008; I’d say 5-11 to be generous. So what is the risk that they shut him down at the end of the season for some minor injury that he would play through if the games mattered? (actually the Chiefs would PREFER to lose in my scenario) An example of this was the 2006 Rams with Bulger, SJax and Holt all sitting out the last few.
If you can live with this, I think he’s a steal. His catches went up dramatically last year and the new OC has to be more creative than Herm, so bump him up further in PPR.
well i got a chance to get adrian peterson if i trade LJ so im gonna do it
“…I urge you not to trade No. 27 away unless you can land a future stud”
Adrian Peterson qualifies
No question… do it if the price is right. What else do you have to give up?
