Below are the Players On The Rise & On The Decline entering Week 6. This is our Fantasy Football Stock Market in many ways and we hope that this feature helps you get a pulse on some of the more talked about fantasy players at this point in the 2008 fantasy football season.

DeAngelo Williams | RB CARDeAngelo Williams just had 20 carries for 123 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Chiefs. This kind of throws a monkey wrench into our Jonathan Stewart predictions, but Stewart still had 19 carries in Week 5 and we still expect Stewart to be the main man down the stretch. Where does "the stretch" begin? That we don’t know, but if you only own Williams and don’t have the duo, consider selling-high if you can. |

Ryan Grant| RB GBRyan Grant had a decent Week 5 game, rushing the football 18 times for 83 yards, but he didn’t find the end zone. In fact, Grant hasn’t score a single touchdown so far this season. If you own Grant, hang onto him for another two weeks, as he is just getting healthy and has decent match-ups against the Seahawks and Colts in Weeks 6 and 7. After that, consider trading him. His next three games after those two match-ups are against top ten defenses (Titans, Vikings and Bears). The runner also has two rough Week 15 and 16 outings against the Jags and Bears… keep that in mind. |

Roddy White | WR ATLWhite has just two scores so far this year, but he has had three games with over 90 yards receiving. He also has had 20 catches over the last three games. The guy is the real deal and is a solid WR2 looking forward. Don’t consider selling-high, unless of course someone is considering overpaying. |

Peyton Manning | QB INDPeyton Manning hasn’t exactly played like a top guy so far this year – That won’t likely change against the Ravens in Week 6. If your team needs a change, especially in the quarterback department, consider attacking Manning via trade after his Week 6 outing. With his bye already out of the way, he is the perfect QB to attack. |

Tim Hightower | RB AZTim Hightower only received 7 carries in Week 5, but he punched in two rushing touchdowns. The guy reminds us a lot of a tougher Laurence Maroney. If for some crazy reason he is available in any of your dynasty leagues, you better scoop him up real quick. As for his 2008 value looking forward, don’t be shocked of he starts to get more than 10 carries a game soon enough. Edge isn’t getting forced out of the line-up unless he suffers injury, but the Cards clearly trust Hightower near the goal line (five scores through five games). If you own him, keep him stashed away on your bench in all redraft leagues — He deserves that roster spot! |

Calvin Johnson | WR DETCalvin Johnson had just two catches for 16 yards in Week 5 against the Bears. That’s six catches for 56 yards and no touchdowns over the last two games. If the Calvin owner in your league forgets about his 13 receptions for 236 yards and 2TDs in Weeks 1 and 2, take advantage! Jon Kitna was pulled from Sunday’s game (back spasms or bad play), but should return to the line-up in Week 6. Just so you know, the Lions have already had their bye. |
