Below are the Players On The Rise & On The Decline entering Week 11. This is our Fantasy Football Stock Market in many ways and we hope that this feature helps you get a pulse on some of the more talked about fantasy players at this point in the 2008 fantasy football season.

Maurice Jones-Drew | RB JACMaurice Jones-Drew had a monster fantasy outing on Sunday, rushing for 70 yards and 3TDs. The concerning part is that MJD only received 11 carries. I have no idea why that Jaguars coaching staff won’t give their stud 18-20 carries per game, but they refuse to make the leap… It’s too bad, because MJD could be a top 5-10RB if he saw that kind of workload. Because MJD’s carries are not guaranteed, he remains a bit risky looking forward, but honestly, I believe that he is worth the risk. |

Joseph Addai | RB INDIf there was ever a time to buy-low on Joseph Addai, now would be that time. Addai carried the football just 12 times for 34 yards on Sunday against the Steelers, and last week the stud had just 32 rushing yards against the Patriots. Addai has been battling a hamstring injury as of late, but I don’t think that his hamstring is the reason he did almost nothing on Sunday… that top 5 Steelers rushing defense can shut down just about any runner. Use Addai’s Week 10 performance to your advantage and trade into a top 5-8RB while you still can. I had one Fantasy Football Xtreme user ask me today if he should trade Tim Hightower for Joseph Addai. I told him absolutely. Disagree? Battle it out on our FFX Forums! |

Thomas Jones | RB NYJThomas Jones was a beast on Sunday, rushing the football 26 times for 149 yards and 3TDs. This performance came out of nowhere, but Jones proved that he is still the team’s feature back and that was something Jones owners needed to see. Can fantasy owners count on Jones being a solid RB2 down the stretch? Well, if you can sell extremely high, I say go for it… but the Jets only face one top 10 rushing defense (Titans) down the stretch, which is great news for T. Jones. |
