The lists below are a culmination of weeks of voting on various offensive positions. Our purpose was to get a sense of who our users think are tops at each position from a dynasty perspective in a PPR scoring format. What is great about these lists is that next to each name is a link back to the thread where the voting took place for that player – many times with valuable insight as to why users voted the way they did. If you are facing a tough decision in a draft or trade, these opinions may help you make that call, and that’s why we do this.
Big thanks to everyone who took the time to participate and argue their points of view!

Nice job, X! Nice job everyone involved. This is valuable info because our forum has some solid fantasy minds on it!
Yeah, this year had some great debates. Age always becomes a hot topic and it was especially true this year in the debate at WR. Really, really good stuff in those threads – they are worth reading.
I was surprised at Darren McFadden ranking.
I was considering trading for him but it does not look like you guys think he will ever get the bulk of the carries, do you think he can handle them? Is there too much competition in Oakland, or do you think he is too injury prone?
I like McFadden myself, but it just depends on what you’re going to give up.
Our league is a keeper/auction league with a $200 salary cap. Even though the salaries have to be raised each year to retain keepers, there will not many RB’s available, and the one’s that are like Tomlinson, Portis, S.Jackson, Westbrook, will all go for $65 – $100. The next teir available is Addaai, Benson, L.Johnson, Grant and McFadden. 16 of your top 24 RB’s listed will not be available at auction.
I only own 2 RB’s cheap enough to consider keeping, Mendenhall for $15, and A.Bradshaw $4. My 2 best keepers are K.Warner for $4 and V.Jackson for $8.
I could keep all 4 but I was going to trade V.Jackson $8 and Bradshaw $4 for a $32 McFadden.
Leaving me with Mendenhall $15, McFadden $32, Warner $4, and then I would keep Mike Walker for $2.
I should have mentioned that this comment goes with the McFadden comment aboove that mentioned trading for him. And that we have already drafted rookies, so all of the rookies in your top 24 will not be available at the auction.
I can keep either Crabtree for $8 or Gartrell Johnson for $5. Probably keeping Crabtree unless Tomlinson goes down in the preseason.
I like that trade for you, as you essentially getting McFadden for $20, which could end up being a bargain. I like that value.
Crabtree is a no brainer over Gartrell right now, but like you said values could change. Still, I jump all over Crabtree at $8. How long can you keep him for at $8?
Hey guys, not sure if it’s just me but I couldn’t get any of the links to threads to work, at least for all of the RB’s they seemed to be bad links of some sort.
I get to keep Crabtree at $8 this season, $16 in 2010, $28 in 2011, $43 in 2012.
We draft the college prospects a couple of weeks before the actual draft. I had the 4th pick, Moreno, D.Brown and C.Wells were taken. I figured it was down to McCoy, S.Green or Crabtree. The value assigned to the p0layer de0pends on what round he was selected in the real draft. A round one RB is $20, round 2 $15, and round three $10. Wr’s are only $8 in the first, $6 in the second and $4 in the third, since they do not usually contribute much the first season.
I am kinda wishing I had selected Shonn Green $10, I am a big Hawkeye fan and I like where he landed. Crabtree landed in a good situation to start right away but they will be run orienated with sub par QB’s.
cnl1975: Yea, $10 for Greene would be huge.
LS2throwed: I fixed the links. Thanks a lot!
