We came across this and thought we’d share — For those that do not know, Seattle WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh is boycotting the Madden 2010 video game because he is not happy with some of his category ratings.
The funny thing is that Houshmandzadeh actually has an overall rating of 91 on the game, which is 10th in the league. Honestly, that seems high, which makes this story even better. Housh’s main beef with those responsible for rating the players is that his speed rating is 81 out of 100.
In the ESPN First Take clip below, Housh confronts two of the game’s creators and they hit Housh back with a hard dose of reality in that Housh is top three in the league in hands, catching over the middle and route running, all which help give him his 10th overall ranking on the game for NFL receivers. Anyway, watch and enjoy. Will Housh be a top 10WR in 2009 in fantasy land? Or is Madden giving Housh too much credit in the skill department? Debate it on the forums — the official thread for this article is below the video clip! See you on the forums!
