I'm not sure exactly how your league works, but I'm guessing you will have 20+ extra bucks to build with next year based on this move and Maclin could turn out to be more productive than Driver next year. I like Driver, and I am not so sure he will slow down this year (so making this trade is tough if you can still compete), but who knows what next year will hold? I'm not solid on Driver for that kind of cash you mentioned... at least not for next year. I'd be interested to hear what others think. Anyone? And I'll work on a spotlight soon for ya! My season has been shot with Gore, McNabb, McFadden and now Cooley all missing time. Do you think I should trade Donald Driver (currently $20, $32 next year) for Jeremy Maclin (currently $2, $4 next year)? Do you think he will be able to hold off Curtis as the starter next year and do you think he could produce as a number 2 WR in a 16 team league? I see he has been getting 6 to 8 looks each week which may be more than Driver is getting. Don't count out Shonn Greene either. He is a somewhat of a long shot given T-Jones is getting it done at 32 (almost unheard of)... but Greene could get his shot later. Some honorable mentions I came up with are the Bengals WR's and Jets RB's. Steve Smith (CAR) and the Houston WR's too. Key matchups in week 13 through week 16 as CIN faces DET,MIN,SD & KC, along with Houston's schedule JAC,SEA,STL & MIA. I believe the Carolina WR's are just 2nd half wonders like S.Jackson(STL) and worth risking if the price is right. Nice matchup for the Jets BUF,TB,ATL & IND as the colts likely to sit many starters once their playoff birth has been solidified. I like Wells & Forsett as well.
