Ray Rice: Ray Rice has not been getting as many touches or yards, as he should be getting and fantasy owners are becoming frustrated (he only totaled 69 yards last week on 19 touches). Expect Rice to heat up towards the final stretch of the season.
C.J. Spiller: With Fred Jackson injured, C.J. Spiller will get to showcase his talent like he did earlier in the season. He is a top 5 running back without Jackson (I have him ranked 4th this week for running backs) and is definitely worth giving up some players for.
Rashard Mendenhall: All indication is that Mendenhall is still the man in Pittsburgh. Jonathan Dwyer and Issac Redman both averaged under 3 yards per carry against the Chiefs on Monday night, so Mendenhall should take over as the lead back.
Nick Foles: Foles has the weapons to be a great quarterback as he is throwing the ball to Jeremy Maclin, DeSean Jackson, Brent Celek and LeSean McCoy. If his offensive line can get it together, he should put up some pretty good fantasy numbers.
DeMarco Murray, Maurice Jones-Drew and Darren McFadden: If you are a lock to make the playoffs, it might be worth it to take a risk on acquiring one of these three injured backs. They are all top 12 running backs when they are healthy and they should be back just in time for your team to make a playoff run.
Joe Flacco: Flacco had a great game this past weekend but he played the Raiders. He goes up against a tough Pittsburgh defense twice in the next 3 weeks so if he is your starter and you’re looking to get into the playoffs, look elsewhere.
Cecil Shorts: He has been the lone bright spot for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season but it is too hard to trust him any week with Blaine Gabbert or Chad Henne throwing the rock.
Felix Jones: You may be able to get someone decent out of him because he may start the next week or two. Look to unload him on someone who is desperate to make the playoffs. You should sell high on Jones before Murray is back in the lineup.
Sidney Rice: Rice has scored a touchdown in 4 of the past 5 games. However, he has a Bye week this week and in 3 weeks he plays Chicago. He may not be the wide out to get you into the playoffs.
Philip Rivers: With Denver, Baltimore and Pittsburgh on the schedule for 3 out of the next 4 weeks, I would get rid of Rivers as fast as you can.
Torrey Smith: There’s no doubting Smith is talented, but Pittsburgh twice in the next 3 games is not attractive.
