It’s slim pickings at the running back position out there. You’ve been searching, but just can’t find that flex play, or solid backup. The running back free agency pool is is a virtual grave yard, with tumbleweeds rolling past the skeletons of Cedric Benson, Kevin Smith, and others. Well I have good news for you. Beanie Well’s is climbing out of of his grave. You remember him. The promising young back out of Ohio State who rushed for over 1,000 yards, and 10 touchdowns, last year. Most of Beanie’s owners dropped him after week 3, when he was put of the dreaded IR after suffering a severe turf toe injury. Little do most fantasy owners know that Beanie is eligible to play, and is set to return week 12 against the Rams. He is certainly worth a waiver claim, if you have the room to spare. The Cardinals are leading the league at being the best at rushing for the least amount of yards…not so great. Now a turf toe injury can be pesky, but Beanie has been practicing since last Wednesday, and says he will undoubtedly play week 12, barring a setback. He does have a rough schedule ahead of him, but having the starting running back on any team is always a good thing. Even the Cardinals…right?
