Stevan Ridley (RB)

I really this guy, and as much as this pains me to say…sell high. With the Patriots wrapping up the AFC East, and their playoff spot, they will start to limit Ridley’s carries. Look no further than last year, when their then starting running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, averaged only 6.2 rushes his last 5 games of the regular season (fantasy playoff time), while the then back up Stephen Ridley averaged close to 10. Then during the playoffs the Pats switched back to Green-Ellis, he averaged 12.6 carries for his next 3 playoff games, while Ridley only received a meager 1.3 carries. Bottom line the Pats will dwindle down Ridley’s carries in order to keep him healthy for the playoffs. With Brandon Bolden suspended for 4 games, Shane Vereen, and Danny Woodhead will pick up the extra carries. I would pick up Vereen, if you have some space to stash him for a couple weeks, until he starts to receive starter-esk amount of carries.

I traded Ridley before the season because I had too many good keepers and was afraid of the RB by committee thing in NE. I did pick up Ronnie Hillman at the start of the season and have held on to him and it may pay off huge.

Do you think Hillman can bust some big runs in place of McGahee?
What do you think his potential is going forward considering McGahee’s age?
    Top ten?
