A match made in heaven. Marshall is the peanut butter to Cutler’s jelly. He’s Jay Cutler’s best buddy on the field, plain and simple. Marshall has received an amazing 124 targets this season, which is a staggering 43.3% of Cutler’s attempts. Marshall ranks 2nd in the NFL in both targets and receptions trailing only Reggie Wayne. I absolutely love watching Marshall compete out on the field, and you won’t find a more physical receiver anywhere. (barring a Hines Ward comeback) He weighs in at 230 pounds, and stands 6-4 tall, now try to imagine the task of most sub 6 feet corners trying to defend, and tackle a receiver running full speed at that size. Oh did I also mention he has a 6-7 wingspan? He’s a load. As long as Cutler can stay healthy he’s a top 3 fantasy receiver, and even more of a stud in PPR leagues. Marshall could have an absolute monster performance this weekend, if the suspensions of the Seahawk’s two starting corners Brandon Browner, and Richard Sherman hold up. (I guess they had a mid term paper due the next day) Expect the combo of Cutler to Marshall to continue to put up big numbers going forward.
