CJ Spiller

I’ve probably been one of CJ Spiller’s biggest supporters this season, calling him out as a top 5-10RB this off-season and before most everyone even considered him a viable flex. Well, he started out as arguably the best fantasy football running back through the first two games of the 2012 fantasy football season… then injury struck! He got hurt in Week 3 after four carries, then had eight carries in Week 4 and seven carries in Week 5… why has be been just mediocre since Week 2, though? Lack of production! Spiller is averaging 6.6 yards-per-carry this year, so there is nothing wrong with Spiller, he delivers whenever his number is called, and anytime he has received over 10 carries, he has produced over 70 yards rushing… He has only received double-digit carries in seven games this year, and he rushed for over 90 yards in four of those contests. Opportunities are the only thing Spiller has been lacking this season. Well, with Fred Jackson (knee) out for the season, so double-digit carries should be back! So should Spiller time! I’m expecting well over 100 total yards, most likely 30-40 receiving yards and at least 1 score in Week 15!
