Johnson has a whopping 50 more targets than any other receiver in Buffalo. That should illustrate how dependent QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has been on Johnson this year. While the touchdowns haven’t been coming of late for Johnson, he’s tallied over 70 receiving yards in 6 of his past 8 games. All signs indicate more will come with all of that yardage stacking up. Johnson hasn’t been the elite receiver that I think he’s capable of this year, but he has been relatively consistent throughout the year, only scoring under 7 points (standard scoring) 3 times on the year. Johnson was drafted in the 7th round in 2008, and has played with that chip on his shoulder ever since. The last two years Johnson has had over 1,000 yards, and I think he’ll break that mark this year as well. If the Bills can pick up a top tier QB in the upcoming draft, expect his production to sky rocket, as Johnson has all of the talent to become an elite receiver in the NFL.
