Many experts predicted Brandon Lloyd to have a huge season after joining Tom Brady and the Patriots. Unfortunately Lloyd hasn’t really panned out for most of the season, with the exception of his past two games. He’s catching fire at the right time for the playoffs, so you can’t be too upset with the guy, posting 279 yards, and two total touchdowns against tough San Francisco, and Houston defenses. Lloyd has the potential to have two more huge games this season for you, facing the Jags and Dolphins, who have significantly worse defenses than the vaunted Texans, and 49ers. I expect Brady will continue to look for the red-hot Lloyd down the stretch. I think Lloyd is a low-end 2 receiver, and a solid flex play. He has all the talent in the world, and has made some of the most spectacular catches I’ve ever seen. With Tom Brady as his quarterback, he has the potential to have huge games, no matter who they play (examples: Texans, 49ers). I know he’s been slow this year, but maybe he’s really getting Coach Belichick’s offense down late in the season. Don’t be surprised to see his streak to continue through the rest of the season. Don’t sleep on Lloyd.
