Robert Woods is an intense competitor and one of the best wide receiver prospects in the draft. He is athletic; exhibits exceptional hands; is fast and elusive with great hands and a second gear. He has a well developed route tree; is a weapon in the red zone; understands coverages; and shows awareness of game situations.
There are some immaturity concerns after he threw his coaching staff under the bus as he declared for the draft; needs to add strength; and develop technique in blocking. He can line up anywhere on the field but his best position is more as a possession/slot receiver. In the end he is a playmaker.
He’ll test well at the combine so that will elevate him for some. He’s a potential top five selection in dynasty drafts and gets a bump in leagues that reward return (punt) yards. In redraft leagues he could be a WR4, with upside, depending on where he goes.
