Christine Michael (RB)

Christine Michael has upside but he comes with a lot of question marks. He runs with quickness, burst and power; has good peripheral vision; and acceptable lateral agility. He has to work on receiving; running routes; pass protection; and show he is coachable. He did not emerge as expected at Texas A&M due to a scheme change, suspension and clashing with the head coach. As a result of the later he’ll have to address character concerns at the combine. He’ll also has some injury concerns; a broken leg in 2010 and a torn ACL in 2011. At this point some team will take a chance on him in the third or fourth round in the NFL Draft, though his Shrine Game practices and performance (13 carries, 42 yards, 1 touchdown) could move him up a round. In dynasty drafts he’s worth a mid-second round selection because of his upside. Too early to tell on his redraft value. We’ll know more after the combine.
