Stedman Bailey (WR)

Stedman Bailey had an outstanding college career. He is an excellent hands catcher; plays tough; creates good separation; tracks the deep ball; works back to his quarterback; has quickness and acceleration out of breaks; decent elusiveness; sutains his blocks and works hard each play. He has average, not elite speed; doesn’t really leap; needs work on his route tree with little experience as a slot receiver; tends to lose concentration in traffic; not much in the way of yac; and doesn’t have enough upper body strength to ward off contact from NFL defenders. Size and strength could be an early issue but his intelligence and work ethic should take care of those concerns. He looks like a third or fourth round selection in the NFL Draft prior to the combine. In dynasty drafts he looks like a late second round selection and appears to have limited redraft appeal, at least early in the season.
