Cobi Hamilton stepped into the WR1 role in a SEC passing offense at Arkansas and produced 90/1335/5 numbers with Tyler Wilson at quarterback. One of the reasons for that production is that Hamilton was clearly the only receiver that Wilson trusted. He’s a smooth runner; terrific vision; fearless across the middle; turns upfield quickly and picks up yards after the catch.

Hamilton is a classic body catcher; needs to get stronger; improve his route running (rounds them off); will have to learn to run NFL routes; has to learn to go to the ball, not wait for it; will drop too many balls if he is asked to adjust his hands too much; seems to take running plays off and isn’t a strong blocker.

Hamilton has the look of a possession receiver but is limited in the red zone. He could be a second or third round selection in the NFL Draft, it will depend on how teams evaluate his pass catching ability as it translates to the NFL. In dynasty formats at best he looks like a third round selection.
