Vincent Brown missed all of 2012 with a broken ankle. After figuring prominently in the Chargers plans last year, in 2013 he comes into a very different situation. San Diego has a new GM and coaching staff; Danario Alexander is the favorite for the WR1 position; Malcolm Floyd is still there, and Keenan Allen was drafted by the new regime.

Vincent Brown has an intriguing skill set. He runs great routes, makes tough catches, has strong hands and has yards-after-the-catch ability. He’s not a speed merchant, but he could make a living out of the slot or at the flanker position. Currently Brown is alternating reps with Malcolm Floyd and the other Charger starters. Keenan Allen will make his move during training camp. Considering the injury history of Alexander and Floyd, Vincent Brown makes for an intriguing late round sleeper pick who could see more targets than many expect.

If you are drafting now Vincent Brown is WR49 coming off the board late in the tenth round (redrafts). Though some of that data is skewed because of the rookies. In ppr dynasty drafts he is near the top of the eighth round. He has good value in ppr leagues no matter the format and is someone to monitor as training camps begin in August.
