Pittsburgh Steelers made Le’Veon Bell their second round selection in the 2013 Draft. RBs are often difficult to gauge their rookie year. Bell is currently going off the board as the 24th best RB. This is absolutely crazy! Bell is worth so much more than a mid RB3 it makes me laugh!

Early reports are saying that he is impressive. He can catch, pass block, and of course break a tackle or two. Fantasy football is about reducing risk. One way of doing this is by examining opportunities for a player. No one will threaten Bell’s workload. He has job security beyond belief. Despite the Steelers mess of a running game for the past few years, signs are pointing to Pittsburgh shifting back to the ground and pound run it down your throat offense they used to feature. This is due in part to the departure of Mike Wallace. Big Ben has never been a top tier QB and his WRs pretty much follow suit. If Pittsburgh is going to win in 2013, it will be because of Le’Veon Bell. In the end, Bell will have tons of carries, heaps of yards, and very likely 10+ TDs.

In standard scoring leagues for 2013 look for Le’Veon Bell to finish as the 13th best RB. In PPR formats he will be closer to 16th. Regardless, you can safely label him as an undervalued running back to begin the 2013 season. I am targeting Bell with my 1.01 Rookie Draft pick in my dynasty leagues.
