Hmmm… this draft can be compared to a chess game where many pieces have already been moved and it’s getting to be quite complicated to strategize on what to do next.
I agree thoroughly. I was really wondering how to hit up the draft. The only thing I knew steadfastly was that I was going for SJax or Westy as a first pick (PPR). After that, I was HOPING to grab 2 of my top 5 QBs, and I had noticed in several other posts that tusken was a Ben fan. I have Brees and Ben very close this year, so I was hoping that leaving a few really solid WRs on the board would tempt him. Unfortunately, he snatched up Brees.
I can’t complain with my first 3 picks though, but I really like the looks of Mahone’s lineup thus far. It’s going to be interesting to see how the rosters play out now that the consensus top QBs are gone.

this is going to get real challenging for me. The cruise ship has internet (as you can see) but no applications so I can’t make a draft board. YARRR!!!

I wonder where Rotobradley is… Kethnaab, did he go with you?!?
Anyway, Rotobradley’s draft timer will expire at 9:33pm ET. I’ve already PMed him to remind him that he is on the clock… I’ll just be the one to shoot a PM to JimTorrey if ever he misses his pick.

Sorry. I really wanted Fitz. But it didn't work out. So I snatched up Smith against my wishes.

heh Glad you guys were hoping I would miss my pick. I couldn’t be the first one though. Anyway work has been REALLY crazy lately and I have been working some long hours. Sorry it took me so long and I’ll try to be more timely from now on.

Am I missing something on Palmer or is their concern because of the CJ thing?

im just concerned about CJ issue with Palmer. If he rly does holdout Housh is his only target.

as stated before, this draft is VERY interesting.
PPR and 2x QBs really put both QBs and WRs at more of a premium, but no one can win games by themselves like RBs based simply on their ability to get touches
westy outscored LT last season in PPR, and SJax outscored LJ in 06 in PPR by a pretty substantial margin and was reasonably close to LT despite having half as many TDs
I must admit, however, that I feel lost without my spreadsheets. I’m going on memberinz skilz now… (and I’m old and senile, god forbid)

If you mess up, tell 'em either your boat was hijacked by pirates that all looked like Keira Knightly covered in rum OR Shamu kept bangning into the side of your boat and you hit the wrong button…
I kinda like the Keria Knightly rum thing myself…. I'd buy that for a dollar.

palmer was an exception i expected him to lead the group of qbs but i dont think his #'s will be that muh better then say marc bulger or matt hasselback
im not a huge cincy fan either this year could be alot of drama

Nice pick with Reggie Bush. I was starting to think he might fall to me…but I forgot who's in this draft.
