What is frustrating as hell is that Tusken apparently has an illicit copy of my draftboard on his ‘pooter’, because right before I pick, I spend copious amounts of time trying to determine who he’ll pick, and no joke, Brees, Braylon and Torry Holt were all guys I said, “hopefully Tusken will let them drop to me”, but I’ll be darned if that happened. Tusken is spying on me. GRRR!

LOL, and you think you cam down with this mysterious ‘bug’ on your trip? Completely random?

For this 6th round, am starting to like JimTorrey’s lineup and his strong WR crew. ;-)

I'm just taking the players that fall. I've been kinda surprised at the guys I have landing in my lap.

I’m pleased getting Jamal with the 65th overall pick and as my RB3. He got a new contract and has no competition. IMO this is a steal even in a PPR league.

I've been debating it as well. But I'm not going to take either when I need to start 3 WRs.

I really liked Bulger late.

I still don't see how Lewis is a steal? I think everyone that was drafted before him DESERVED to be drafted before him.

I dunno JM…grabbing Lewis in the 6th is pretty solid value IMO. This whole 2QB thing is still screwing with my overall rankings though…

It is great value. But has a RB been taken earlier that shouldn't have been? Even more, have there been any WRs that shouldn't have gone before him? I can't see one that shouldn't have gone before him….thus he is perfectly placed. This was his spot to get drafted. You can't get a steal if you get him at his proper spot. Now could he produce higher then this draft spot? Yes…and at that point he will have been a steal.

Jamal Lewis was 6th in PPR scoring during 2007.

Comparing Lewis’ 2007 to the RBs of 2006, he still would’ve been top 10.

Everyone raves about Bush’s 2006 campaign for PPR, but Lewis in 07 was only 1 PPG behind Bush’s 2006 in PPR scoring

So yeah, Lewis in the 6th is a steal if Lewis can even come close because Lewis will be far better than the 19th ranked RB in 2008 I’d be willing to bet.

and yes, I’m pissy because I was 100% convinced Lewis was going to fall to me. Hambone only compounded things by taking my targeted QB.

That is a good thought. I owned Lewis in a PPR league so I know how well he did. But it wasn't entirely from receptions or anything. The guy just pounded the rock and did it well. That said I can only see Lewis getting worse this year. Its another year of cold weather on a body.

I’m willing to bet Lewis does about as well. 1300/10 at least. Damn solid O-line, excellent passing attack, no reason for teams to stack 8, and people, we have to keep in mind, the dude ran for 2000 yards not all that long ago. He has talent and he’s on a damn good offense, so I see no reason that he won’t showcase his talent.

but, as always, that’s why we play the games during the season. Each year brings something new and interesting along. :)

Looks to be similar to other Xtreme drafts…you SWEAR the guy in front or in back of you has the same draft boards as you are using. :)

Seems to be moving along pretty good…just short of a round per day. Anyone got rosters “to date” at say the end of the 7th?

yup, but we’re not posting them.

we’re hoping someone screws up and drafts someone that’s already been drafted so that they can wear the appropriate SIGNATURE OF SHAME

I’m back on dry ground, so I have my draft board spreadsheet going. I can post the final results when we’re finished, but I want someone to wear that darn sig for awhile. Fearless did a nice job coming up with them *Cackle*

Also, Lewis didnt really start doing very well until the last half of the season when it was a very easy schedule for him. This year he faces a much harder schedule and I just dont believe in him.

This is also very true. The Browns had an overly easy schedule all last year actually. It will be interesting to see how they do this year. Remember that their schedule is only 1 game different then The Steelers.
