I don't like te idea of being 6th but I'm sure my superior FF skills will once again show and I will have total dominance over this league. HEH Never to early for a little trash talk right?

In a 10 team league is there truly a bad spot? I prefer being close to the top or bottom of the order in small leagues like this. I'm happy with picking #7.

Gentlemen,
Please review the rules below. If these rules are acceptable, vote “yes”. If they are not vote “no” and please explain your objection(s) so that we could address and discuss your proposed changes.
NOTE: It is assumed that you are amenable to the Rosters and Scoring Structure previously presented else you would not have signed up with this League so we don't have to vote for these 2 aspects.
A Majority (7+) of “Yes” votes will constitute passage of the rules, at which time they will become “official”.
LEAGUE RULES:
League Structure: We will just have 1 Division comprised of 10 teams.
Playoffs: The top 4 teams will make the playoffs. The playoffs will take place in weeks 15 & 16. There will be 2 matches on Week 15 which will be between team #1 vs team #4 and team #2 vs team #3. Week 16 will be Championship & 3rd place games.
Player Trades: Trades between team owners can be made anytime except on weeks 13 to 16. There is no limit on the number of trades but will have to be approved first by the Commissioner.
Please take note that during the trade process, you might have to drop a player as you will not be allowed to exceed the roster limits.
IR:
We will not have any IR slots. Your bench should be deep enough to handle injured players.
Free Agency:
Starting at gametime of the week through Wednesday at 12:00pm, no free agent moves will be allowed. Free Agency will be open on a first come, first serve basis after all waiver wire claims have been processed.
Waiver Wire:
To provide an equal opportunity for all owners to add players to their roster that are new to the free agent pool, a Waivers process is used. Requests for players that are on Waivers are not executed immediately, but are put in a pending status. This allows multiple teams to request the same players.
A dropped player will be moved to the Waiver Wire after he is dropped. Starting at gametime on Sunday through Thursday at 11:00am (CST), any owner wishing to pickup a player must submit a waiver request for the player. This process can be done at any time of day or night up through Thursday at 11:00am. You can submit as many waiver requests as you would like but there will only be 4 rounds of Waivers processed. When you submit a waiver request for a player, you must also select a player to drop from your roster (pretty self-explanatory) and assign a priority to the request. So if you submit multiple waiver request be sure you have them ordered in the priority you would like to get them. Keep this in mind, you are not guaranteed any player you submit a waiver request for as this will be dependent on the set of criteria presented below:
Waiver Wire Order Criteria:
- Overall Win-Loss record - which means the team with the worst record (determined by tie-breakers if necessary) will go first, followed by the team with the next worse record, etc.
- If two teams tie for the worst record, the first tie-breaker is head-to-head.
- The second tie-breaker is overall points.
The waiver process of a given week will run Wednesday at 12pm EST.
PRESEASON ADD/DROPS
NO Waivers process exists in the preseason. After the draft is completed and rosters entered all undrafted players will become “Free Agents” and are available on a “First Come-First Served” basis. This Preseason “Free-For-All” will end 1 hr before the kickoff of the 1st NFL game.

I would like to propose that we develop a method for adjusting waivers slightly, although this isn't a 'make or break' thing for me
I like giving the cruddy teams first shot at waivers, but I would like to make sure that the cruddy teams don't ALWAYS get to pick first. I know it drives me mad to put in my waiver pick and then week after week someone else gets it because I have a better record.
The way I understand it, if I'm in 1st place and Tav is in 10th place, and we each try to pick up the same 3 guys in the same week, even if i put my waiver wire request in first, he gets to grab all 3?
Or does he go to the bottom of the waiver wire after he gets his “1st priority” waiver wire acq?
Also, any pre-draft trading of picks or places? I'd probably be quite happy with the 4th pick in the draft and wouldn't mind giving up the 2nd to someone who is desperate enough.

I would assume that for the waiver wire, after the person with the worst record gets their waiver pick, they go to the bottom of the priority. It isnt entirely clear in the rules though and I hope thatis the way it is. If not I think it should adjusted as well, Because with Hambone being in last place every week, he shouldnt get all the waiver pick ups
