not until Aug 8. I am studying now, ~2-3 hours/day. I am off of work from July 14-Aug 8, and I will be studying ~16-18 hours/day during that 4 weeks. You won’t see much of me here during that time. Oh well. Part of life in med school.

I think whoever makes the trade should update the draft list, that way we know it will get done.

I also think that we should update team rosters and players taken like we did for the last draft, possibly after each round. Starting after round 2 or 3.

just as a heads up, I think this draft will take a good bit longer than the other draft we did. Mostly because it is a semi-dynasty draft, we will have to think about the future as well as the now, and with draft trades available, I think some people will wait to make their pick until they field a few trade offers.
Not that we are in any rush to get it done, but I think it may take 2 weeks or so. Hopefully nobody will take too long to make their picks.

I think a good rule (sorry to use the word) is that no trades allowed while you are on the clock. I’ve seen leagues where that was done and it takes a long time, trying to get the best trade before a selection is made. Just an idea.

I vote for trades and with this comment from Tavaner in mind I think if the pick comes up fast and this is already in the works and the “new” pick owner picks within a reasonable amount of time it should be o.k., but no shopping the pick when you are up should be the gentleman’s rule here.
