At 12 I knew I could go RB/RB but until both of them were there, I had a very different strategy. I’m aware of the injury concerns with Westy but he’s only 27 and after Alexander finished last year strong, I believe he still has something left.
Youth had been a consideration but the value was too good with these two even with the injury questions with Westy and the hotly debated Alexander. Both are a roll of the dice. I doubt there will be a middle road with either of their years.

Sorry about the wait guys. I was at work and the computers there will let me see the site, but not login. They say it is a “game” site, which it doesn’t allow.
I took Gore at #5 because I think he could be a stud for years to come. He does have injury concerns, but I think last year he showed what he is capable of. And the coach said that he plans on getting Gore 20-25 touches per game, so 320-400 touches for the year. I like that. And with the upgrades the team has made in the offseason, other defenses can’t focus on just stopping the run. I just hope his knees hold out for a few years.

I also threw out a few trade proposals, which I didn’t really think about before I sent. I have my concerns about Gore’s health, so I thought about how to get another 1st round pick using my other draft picks. Apparently I didn’t offer very good trades. Sorry. I just made them up on the fly without really thinking about them. I wanted to get some proposals in before the picks were made, but I only had about 5 minutes between surgeries, so I couldn’t really think them out. Sorry if they were really crappy trade offers. I don’t want to be “that guy” who offers up the worst trades. It was more of me rushing and not thinking it out instead of trying to get something for nothing.

I went with Steve Smith due mostly to the format of our league. We can only keep/start 2 RBs as opposed to 3 WRs. Since I don’t pick again for 20 slots, I’d miss out on the best WRs that would go in the early 3rd round. It was a tough decision but ultimately, I think, a good one.

I went with Manning because of the amount of points he’ll get. Add the 3 point bonus for throwing 300+ and he’s gonna be money.
