First 12 that that say yes are in. It will be on this exact thread with no real timer (within reason).

Posting Rules: Once you select, you must re-pasted the entire order in your message when you make your selection. This will make it easy to follow and judge who is doing well.

Tavner and BrainBucket (if you want/can), I’m kinda putting you guys in charge of keeping it running. Lets see what FFXtreme User can build the best team. If you want to run this on a free yahoo league later, that is up to all 12 of you. Know if you join this, that is a possibility, so make sure you are game with that and draft accordingly.

Basic Rules:
1. Redraft League
2. 16 round draft
3. No trades during draft (to make it easy to follow)
4. Line-Up: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1Def
5. Draft order will be decided at random by Smitty and posted when all 12 are confirmed, snake-style of draft
6. Tavaner/BrainBucket will keep the thread running smooth, and eventually co-commish if you guys decide to run this as a free league on yahoo (that is up to all 12 we will not have anything to do with setting it the league up)
7. Scoring: 1pt per 10 Ru/Rec yards, 1pt per 20 passing yards, all TDs are 6 points, 2pt conversions are all 2pts, all Ints are -2, all players can score points in all categories (so RBs get receiving yards, etc) BUT “NO” PPR, no neg. points for fumbles, no special teams points for kick returning WR, etc..
8 Draft as if playing only head to head, 2 divisions
9. Drafter must be able to draft from now until the draft ends, which could take days - no timer, but Tavaner and Brain will make the call if an drafter needs to be replaced
10. Drafter that accepts to be one of the 12 drafters must be ok with this possibly becoming a league (the 12 will decide together.

Any other rules that need to be defined can be brought up and approved by Tavaner/Brain… if either of those two cannot participate and run such a thing, let me know.

I’m in

I’d love to join but there is a big but. As a religious
Jew I cannot draft from late Tues (5/22) until Thurs night (5/24) (the Holiday of Shavuot), not can I draft on Sabbath (Fri eve until Sat night) If the potential delay(s) is/are ok with the rest of you I’m in, if not I will sit this one out.

No points per fumble, and yes, 1 point per 10 ru yards and 1 point per 10 rec yards. I fixed the the orig. message above to reflect this.

Brain: That is a tough thing to work around, as the thread will need to roll quickly to keep interest.

I guess you guys could start the draft/posting next Monday, though. It will be on this thread. I’ll bring it back to the top of the forum once the draft begins. You have no problems from next Monday on (not this Mon.), right?

Would anyone be in favor of a 2RB, 2WR, 1W/R(either a WR or RB) format instead of a 2 RB, 3WR format? just to spice things up a bit if this would become an actual league, which I’m up for.

I would be open for that - I actually prefer that format.
