Time for the QBs!
We ended our initial top to bottom dynasty voting well over a month ago, but now that the draft is over and we've had time to digest where these guys have landed, it will be interesting to do it again to see if our thinking has changed - no doubt it has.
If you were starting a new dynasty league in 2008, who would be at the top of your QB list, assuming standard scoring?

I'll take Brady, but Peyton's really not that far behind. I just don't see Brady even coming close to repeating his 2007 season.

This is tougher than I thought..I have to go Brady here…Even though Manning and Romeo are right there…I also feel Brady will just be Brady this year…

I’ll go with Tom Brady. He and Peyton got sacked a couple of times last season but with the offseason moves, i think Brady will have more pass protection than Peyton.

I'll take Brady as well. These two are clearly the cream of the QB crop.

I'll take Peyton, Brady is one player away from being ordinary and Moss is no lock to stay healthy. Manning will produce regardless of who he is throwing to

Peyton - 8
Brady - 8
Just some helpful info for you to assist in making your decision:
# seasons > 4000 yards passing
Brady - 2
Manning - 8 (8 of last 9, every year since 1999 except 2005)
# seasons > 30 TD passes
Brady - 1
Manning - 4 (3 of last 4)
yards/TDs/int last 5 seasons combined:
Brady - 19,757 / 151 / 60
Peyton - 21,008 / 168 / 53
yards/TDs/int averages over last 5 seasons combined:
Brady - 3951 / 30 / 12
Peyton - 4202 / 34 / 11
# seasons > 65% completion percentage
Brady - 1
Manning - 6 (consecutive, every year since 2002)
Without Moss (pre-2007), Brady’s highest season totals were 4110 and 28 TDs. Manning has thrown for at least 28 TDs 6 times and at least 4110 yards 7 times
food for thought. Is Brady the #1 dynasty QB because of Moss, or is Moss the #1 dynasty WR because of Brady? What would happen to Brady’s #s if Moss injured his wrist? What happened to Manning’s #s when Harrison injured his knee?

I’ll argue the other side of Kethnaabs post above.
For years everyone kept saying how Brady was one of the best QBs in the league but always lacked the weapons. Last year we got our first taste of what the man can do with real recievers. His first year with Moss, Welker, and company he put together a better season than ANY Payton could when Harrison and Wayne were in their prime.
Now consider this…Harrison could very well be done. Payton, who has always had the weapons advantage over Brady, may be at a disadvantage now. Would you want Wayne and a Gonzales to throw to or Moss and Welker?
Lets check the lines (ultimatly it always comes back to the line in football). Is there a better O-Line in the NFL then New England which boasts 3 Pro Bowlers?
Next lets check age. Again not a huge difference but Manning is a year older and already at 32.5 years old when this season starts. How many more years does he have for dynasty purposes?
All those old stats (to me) simply show Manning had 2 Pro Bowl WRs in the past. I would love to have seen what #s Brady would have put up in those old Colt offenses…would have been sick. Through all those years he had few INTs though and a solid completion percentage for the WRs he had, showing he was doing his job. Brady never took a year off, he simply didn’t have the horses on the team to help out.
From here on out Brady looks to me to not only be the better and more accurate QB but also on the better team with the better line and better WRs. Yes, it’s very likely he won’t throw for 50TDs again but it IS very likely he’ll again be the best QB in football this year.
