Brandn Jacobs… He's still the starter and does all the goal line work.

Rudi Johnson. He'll bounce back and the rest of th backfield is injured or unworthy.

Brandon Jacobs, even if he plays a Deuce type roll he can easily put up top 20 numbers with all the goaline carries. If his carries are cutback and he can stay healthy(with a new role I think he can) he can get 1000 yds very easily, as he missed 5 games and hit 1000 last year. I think he is a solid rb2 and he has upside to get 1200 to 1300yds. He is gonna get alot more than 4 tds next season and at this spot he is a very easy choice. He should actually be a few spots higher imo. No way he should fall any lower than this.

maroney = jacobs in my book….so i go jacobs here…best case scenario if this massive beast can play 16 games and get 20 carries a game is 2700 yards rushing and 35 tds….he's that good…maybe 40 tds….its just that huge body has proven to not be able to take the work load…but if he could…

2700 yards and 40 TDs?! On only 20 carries a game?! That is an average carry of 8.5 yards. The all-time record holder for RBs “only” averaged 5.22.
So, in other words, you think Jacobs is capable of having BY FAR the best season by any football player ever.
Wow… goodbye credibility.

************************WARNING EXTREME SARCASM INTENDED********************
thank you for backing up my outlandish prediction with facts though….that being said i agree that a rb cannot avg 8.5 yards a carry but jacobs certainly can run at a 7.1 clip….right? can i have my credibility back please? I can tell you dont work at a CSI department because if i shot out those predictions for my #21st ranked rb my goodness….wanna know what my #1 rb is set to accomplish?

Jacobs
Honestly, I like the guy this year. Last year people were over-hyping him and drafting him way to high in leagues. This year its the total opposite. People avoiding him like the plague when he’s still a quality RB starter. I’m way more then happy to have him on a few of my teams as a RB3.

I’m going with FWP here. He is not going to be obsolete in that offense, he was leading the league in rushing yards before going down. He was a top 10 pick last year and I think around here you’re getting a great deal. I think he stays healthier than Jacobs.
