It looks to me like you have a shot playing in weeks 16-17.  Long term, that is a great trade, this year I evaluate long and hard the chances I feel I have for a shot at a championship.  Remember, once you are in the playoffs, you have a shot.  Without looking at all the matchups, for all three teams ;) , I'd pass on that offer.

In a vacuum, I'd rather have Calvin – although, in a PPR Gore's value goes up slightly.  However, as much as I love Calvin, looking at your team you'd be in BIG trouble if one of your RBs goes down with an injury if you make this deal.

The only way I'd reconsider is if it becomes a 2-2 swap, where you send Gore and, say Rice, for Calvin and a decent enough RB to cover you in case of an injury to MJD or Brown.

Not quite sure I follow your starting requirements, but I'd still rather start an RB than an WR (if one of your remaining backs went down to injury).  Tempting though….

No guarantee Gore is going to make it through the season healthy as well. Me personally, i rarely will pass up on a deal like this just because I have a shot in the playoffs or a championship. You still have to play next year, and the year after, and even today, Calvin has way more dynasty value than Gore. It’s too good a trade to pass up. Esp if you can go through some weeks only starting 1 RB if need be. I agree with madrags that starting a RB is better in a flex league, and ideally a Gore/Sidney Rice for Calvin and a mid-range RB like Pierre Thomas would be better, but ultimately I’d jump on the deal straight up as is.
