Now that the Bengals have signed Larry Johnson, does that mean that Bernard Scott's value has taken a hit?  I gotta think that is the case.  I hope I'm wrong.  There are two ways to look at this situation.  One, they feel they need someone to back up Scott and Leonard in case they get hurt, which is what Coach Lewis said was the case, but it's hard to believe.  Two, they don't think Scott and Leonard can get the job done.  Thoughts?

LJ isn't going to ressurect his season in Cinci.  He's insurance, Scott is up first I'd imagine and his value increased. ;)

Everything I have read is that LJ is about 4th on the depth chart and could even be inactive on Sundays. I think of him signing sort of like Shaun Alexander and Edge from the past few seasons. Big name, little playing time.

Even if Benson plays Sunday, Marvin Lewis wants to get Scott more playing time regardless.

He is the most interesting poster on FFX.
