It's mid-season and I'm 3-5, the division leader is 4-4 so playoffs aren't out of the question yet. I got a solid team but my QB spot sucks (Orton, Cassel, Henne) and is the reason I'm not 5-3 / 6-2. I've been trying all season to get a respectable QB, but everyone wants to overcharge me.
This owner just offered me Carson Palmer for Orton and Mendenhal, I said, no way. Given my situation should I overpay now to get a franchise QB or just ride out the season, see where Orton gets me, and try to fix my QB spot during the offseason / FA draft next year?
12 team 6 player keeper, roster in the sig box.

No on the deal.
The ppg diff between Orton and Palmer is not enough (1-3 depending on your scoring system) to justify moving a young RB prospect who has still not come into his own completely.
If you are going to move Orton/Mendy you need to find a true difference maker at QB to help you out for the stretch.

QB's are pretty important in my league, as all positions get 1pt per 10yds and 6 pts per TD, but Mendy looks to be a solid part of my core for years to come. I'm trying to switch Addai for Mendy in the deal so Palmer, DWiLL, Stewy, Mendy, VJAX and Bowe would be my 6 keepers.

Yeah, that's what I'm pushing, but he knows he has the advatange. He doesn't really need Orton or Addai.
