This is a 12 team start up keeper league. 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DT. roster limits 4RB, 5WR.
2 extra pts when total passing completions is greater than or equal to 25
1 pt for every 20yds passing
1 extra pt when total passing yds is greater than or equal to 300
4 pts for passing TD's
4 extra pts for every passing, rushing, or recieving td of 80 or more yds
2 extra pts for every passing, rushing, or recieving TD between 40 & 79 yds (inclusive)
2 extra pts when total rushing attempts is greater than or equal to 30
1 pt for every 10yds rushing
1 extra point when rushing yds is greater or equal to 150
6 pts for rushing TD's
2 extra pts when total catches is greater or equal to 9
1 pt for every 10yds recieving
1 extra pt when total recieving yards is greater or equal to 150
6pts for recieving TD's

All around good team. If I'm being picky, I am going to agree with the rest that your WR's are thin. The fact that you are stocked at RB is a good way to get yourself another quality receiver.

I would just drop Cardinals D and Bryant and pick up two random WR for giggles. Give us a list of who is available. Has to be at least one upside guy worth taking a chance with. The chance of you playing either Cardinals D or Bryant over your others is slim except on bye week which by then you will know more of what you got. Give us like the top 5-10 WR on free agent wire.
I don't mind your WR if you only start 2, but starting 3 could be problem later. I wouldn't trade just to upgrade right now though. Someone will come to you pre-season with some heavily in your favor trade. Your RB are all worth holding onto and not giving up on.

I think you did excellent. I love the RB depth and think you’ll be fine at WR. It is your weakest point, but you pick your spots. I’d be thrilled with your RB’s and would sit tight with them and play the WW to pick up help at WR if your guys don’t work out.
The roster limits of 4 RB and 5 WR limit a bit of what you can do so I see why you went with 2 D and kickers.
You’ve got 2 young up and commers at QB so Brohm may be a bit excessive. I may look to pick up a vet/hot QB instead to help you this year there. Brohm may pan out, but you have enough youth at the postition.

Thank you all for your input and advice. The reason why I have extra DEF, K, & QB is because of roster restrictions(see original post). The only thing that scares me going into the season is my wideouts. In this league we start three. I believe R. White has good value, and S. Rice is a possible sleeper, however I feel I need more depth at WR2.
I have been offered a trade:
Me: Mendenhall, 1st round pick in 09(4th overall), 2nd round pick in 2010 (9th overall)
Him: Calvin Johnson, M. Forte
what do you think?

Opps, missed the roster limits in my post. Your team is solid I would stick with what you got.
I am as big of Calvin fan as there is and I don't think I would do this trade. I don't like the giving up the picks especially not 2 of them with one being your first next year. 4rth overall pick next year could be Teabow if he comes out. I personally wouldn't do that.
How do you know your picks for future years? Not based on record?

I just declined the trade offer, now he's offering Calvin Johnson & forte for Mendy and a 1st & fifth next year. He's a steelers homer and wants Mendy bad.
by the way I don't know our draft positions for next year, I was looking at my position this year.

the fact that you declined and he reoffered quickly it means the fish is on…strike while the kettle is hot…who knows if mendy is gonna outproduce forte career wise…one thing i believe to be true is that with willie parker and moore in the picture forte should outproduce mendy this season just based on number of chances….forte and calvin for mendy and a 2nd id jump on….keep that 1st like haimez said but ignore his tebow comment…lol…what other wrs does he have before i say dont trade that 1st?

its not about fair…its about getting the most you can for the least amount possible…id stand strong about not wanting to give up my first…id email him the rashard mendenhall Utube package clip explaining to him that you hate to trade the career of mendy cause you know he's the steelers next great rb but you want to win now…then offer mendy and 2009 2nd round for forte and calvin….in a start up first year true dynasty id be very happy with who your drafted and what you got for mendy….calvin is gonna be a beast this season and for the next decade…lets let the mendy homers chime in on this on though…guys?
