I'm looking to add some depth for my playoff push and some youth to my dynasty team. I dangled the idea of Colston to the Brees owner and he didn't seem to mind giving up Moreno in the deal. I think we have to work out the details but this deal could get done.
What are your thoughts on Moreno? I'm assuming everyone thinks he's gonna be a stud RB?

I can see him being a 5-8 RB (he's like a 10-12 right now IMO) in dynasty. Given the right situation giving up Colston for him could work. If Colston is your #1 and/or its a ppr I don't like it, but if you have depth at WR and get a bit more back from him along with Moreno it could work

Non PPR but do get a pt for every 4 Recp
I've got the depth to trade colston…he may even throw in a WR since he will have to drop one.

in almost :) non PPR this trade even looking better, extra WR not hurts but imo you should start to think about QB position for next year .Good luck !

Haha thanks Vik I should've opened my eyes.
With your roster I'd probably do this trade straight up. The wheels on Turner will be falling off soon and you have no other RB's. See if you can Squeeze a 2nd rounder out of him but otherwise go for it.
Moreno is probably about as good a back as you'll get for Colston straight up, so it looks good.

I'm a bit leery of losing Witten. IDK. If that's the best he'll go I'd still do it but I have reservations. Cotch isn't very relevant to your squad with Crabtree on your bench, and Shockey is a big downgrade in dynasty

Well, he doesn't want to go with Brees/Colston/Shockey/Carney. I told him I would take Shockey off his hands for him.

Well, i don't think you can afford this move in dynasty .Colston plus Witten to rich for Moreno and Co (with all Moreno potential).
Plus Brees/Colston/Shokey (don't tell me K play any role here) is his problem .
QB,RB upgrade yours problem (do not trade Witten without improvement in other position).

Probably overexaggerated a bit here, but I guess I'm not as worried of the total number of career carries rather than the number and rate of carries the last year and a half. 25 carries per game can wear out a 27 year old pretty quick. He's still a great back, but with 85 bear's roster I think him getting a younger RB is more important than having Colston.
And I wish I had this guys problem of starting 3 guys on the NOS! Not sure what he's complaining about but I wouldn't give up Witten just to help the guy with his buy weeks

Go get Moreno…..Colston is nice but young talented starting RBs with limited competition for carries are very hard to find…Colston is great but you can afford the loss

I know getting Knowshon would help me later, but will losing Colston hurt my chances this year? Looks like it could be a Colston for Moreno straight up.
