LT trade offer from me

I just emailed the owner and asked him to call me about a trade. He probably won't go for any offers for LT (not sure I would) but here is what I am thinking.

I know he would be weak at RB but he doesn't look that good at WR and he wants picks. I am thinking about giving up a top WR and my 1.04 pick.

Is that too much? I am trying to hold onto Edwards and my offer/counter offers are going to be start with Burress, then Johnson, then Edwards.

I really think my team would be almost unbeatable (except for QB) and my next pick isn't until late third round but I still think I can get a decent QB late even if it is a rookie….or should I just stand pat, take a good rookie RB with my 1.04 and a QB in the third?

I actually don't think your QB situation is that bad, especially in a 14 team league.  Not only that, you are probably set at every position and have a good chance to win even without this trade.

As far as the trade goes, how many RBs/WRs do you start?  I assume LT would replace Burress in your lineup?  On it's face, I'd probably keep the pick and WR, but it would depend on your lineup and if this is PPR.

Make the offer but it may end up costing one of your RB's and Evans/Crayton. I'm guessing you can start three rb's?

You could win it all with or without LT. The cost in this case might be higher than the returns. At this point in his career LT is a bit risky, imo. I would not make the trade, but that's me…Bush and MJD are good RB's in a ppr; Edwards, I would not move at all; CJ and the 1.04 is about as much as I'd offer (if 3rb's can start) and I'm not sure you aren't weakening your team even with that trade.

You never know, he might accept a trade. It's impossible to say.

I agree, it would be suicide for that owner to give up LT without a replacement running back. I personally would offer either Bush with Evans and the 1.4 for LT and Vincent Jackson. But, then that would leave you then with no RB3 for this year and no potential replacement for LT when he's done. Do you have any other high draft picks this year?

I don't have a pick until the 3rd round.

I think my team looks pretty good too but I was concerned with Reggie Bush's output last year and was looking for a stud.

With the 1.04 pick there should be plenty of rookie RB's available so I guess my future post will be who to take. We have a live draft so I doubt I will have time to email the group but maybe a ranking order before I go in would be good.

Thanks
