Own him in my league….He was the WR I wanted to get in this rookie draft, traded up, got him, and he is turning into exactly what I thought he would …a fantasy beast. Seldom goes that way for me but so far, so good on him. How good will he be in the end???? I have received several offers for him. I am treating him like he will be a top 10 dynasty WR within the next year or so and for years to come beyond that….Am I overvaluing him???

I think top 10 is a stretch. I liked him alot coming in too, but much of that was because of Favre and the fact that I thought he would be very effective running simple patterns and starting off quick. He also has the added bonus of a return td here and there. I think that return magic fades after a couple of years and he turns into more of a Devin Hester type receiver instead of a Steve Smith. When Favre decides to leave – or maybe even before, he could become the 3rd best option on a run first team.
Personally I'd sell if the offer is right.

I don't see why you'd sell him unless it's an offer you can't refuse. He's the best WR in the draft. Yes Favre is the QB but the dude has some hands and a knack of running after the catch. I think he can be a top 15 WR in a few years. Hang onto him. It'll be worth it.

I'm with Keeper Rook on this one. How many WRs on the Vikings have been fantasy relevant before Farve and since Culpepper. I would sell high on him while Farve is still there cause when he is gone it will be 1 of those other 2 guys or a rookie QB; either way it will be the AP show. Harvin has stud like talent but he cant get the ball by himself. Like footballfreak said though, make sure the offer is very good.

I’d be selling if you got a good offer. I think his value takes a huge hit when Farve leaves or his arm gives out this year. Crabtree is the best WR in this draft for me by far and there are others I’d rather have then Harvin. Harvin might maybe contributing the most early on, but that doesn’t make him the best. Eddie Royal isn’t doing much without Cutler… just a thought.

I think Harvin is an electric player and has star potential. With that said, I think he is a little overhyped at the moment. Take away his return stats and what do you have? He isn't making a huge impact at WR. His TD this week was a little of a fluke as 3 GB defensive players knocked each other down when he caught the ball. I don't think you'd be wrong to keep Harvin and watch him develop, but I feel that Crabtree is the best WR in this class.
