Dynasty League, standard scoring, no-ppr.

I have the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming Rookie/FA draft (this Friday)

The team who has the No. 1 overall pick just made a deal that also gets him the 6th and 8th pick. I told him I’d be interested in the No. 6 and threw out some ideas. He acually bit on Michael Bush for the 6th overall, but then backed down. Now he wants FWP for the 6th overall pick.

My original plan was to pick Mendy (at No. 2 overall) to pair with FWP and have the Steelers backfield for now and the future. Do I change this approach?

Do I still pick Mendy at No. 2? Do I deal FWP for the 6th and hope that Chris Johnson falls to No. 6?

This guy is willing to deal the 6th overall pick. I’m just trying to find the right trade and fit for my team. Looking for suggestions.

Interesting.  See if he'll take Parker for #6 and a swap of 1 and 2.  Then you can land McFadden at #1 to go with Bush and he'll get Mendy/Parker.  And you'll get #6 to boot. 

Johnson just went at #4 in my dynasty draft, so he's definitely moving up.  I think the play is to take Mendy at #2 and hold off on the trade until you see who is there at #6.  If he's still there and you like Johnson that much, make a deal involving Parker for #6 - but I still think he's worth more than just that pick.

Just wanted to bump this and see if I could get anymore feedback/opinions.

I would have to do what X said and wait til the 6th pick to see if u still want to do the deal.  If it was me, I'd just stick with the pick or see if I trade Mike Bush to him after he takes McFadden
