I am in a 16 team Dynasty PPR League. Starting Line up of: QB, RB, 2 FLEX, WR, TE, D/ST & K. You can have a max of 2QB, 3RB, 3WR, 2 TE per roster. Right now I have P Manning, LT, MoJo, Jackson, Wayne, Edwards, Gates. I have draft picks of 6, 13, & 22.

The trade being offered is S. Jackson & my 13th for #1 & Mason & Warner (need a b/u QB…but when will he play?).

I know that I have the depth, but am I just getting an itchy trigger finger with all of this hold out garbage?

Thoughts?

I think you can relax now…

Steven Jackson has decided to end his holdout and will report to the Rams on Wednesday evening.

He will resume practicing on Friday. The sides have not agreed to a new contract, but Jackson is confident enough an agreement will be reached to report to the team. He has 18 days to get up to speed with the offense, which is plenty in our opinion. Jackson's fines for missing camp totaled $408,132.

As if it was ever in doubt.  Guys of his caliber just don't hold out into the regular season… plus he didn't have to deal with camp.  Pretty expensive vacation though! :)

Oh, and no on that trade.  Mason and Warner… no thanks.

Lienart has looked impressive this pre-season, so I'm not sure Warner will ever get on the field barring an injury. Mason would never start over Wayne/Edwards so he is a wash. It basicaly comes down to McFadden for Sjax +13 pick. I say no way to this trade, but other people are higher on DMAC then I am. As far as the holdout issues, I've been buying Sjax cheap in most of my keeper/dynasty leagues I think he comes back soon

Ish on the offer.  Warner will be the backup and Mason is in his last season, IMO.  Keep Sjax. I did.  I'm a Sjax owner and I held onto him.  I got low-ball offers like this for him the last month.  you'll be glad you kept him.

Even if Jackson was to hold out longer, I agree - there's no way I do that deal.
