Soooo I’ve been dealing with this damn trade for like 4 months now, and its come to this
It was supposed to be
Bush/Housh for Walker/R Johnson
I would be getting Bush and Housh
Pretty damn sweet, I know….but the guy has paniked cause both Rudi and Walker played like crap last week. So he has sent this over, and tells me its final. I think it looks good, but this is my first year watching football, and my first fantasy draft, so I don’t do anything without consulting you guys first, cause well you rock.
He has sent a proposal for
Holt/Bush for R Johnson/L Evans
Evans is playing like CRAP! and it looks worth it to me, if Evans stays crappy. It is a ppr 3 keeper league and I don’t mind losing this year, as long as I set myself up for next.
Let me know what you guys think, this trade is driving me crazy!!!!! Thanks

Lose this year? In a dynasty league, even for this year, I’d rather have Bush/Holt. That would be a killer trade, even if Evans bounces back. Rudi doesn’t have as may years left as most think IMO.
If this is a PPR league at all, stop reading and run to accept this. With McAllister out, Bush is a lot better than the banged up Rudi for this year alone.

Yeah I allready did, lol.
Another question for you though Smitty, I’ve got a 0-3 start going and all my players are tanking pretty bad. I’m not concerned with winning this year, since it’s my first year watching football at all! What I want to do is set up for next year.
I’ve been thinking about trading off some of my other players that are not quite keeper material but are still good in return for some 1st or 2nd round picks for next season…..

My keepers, as I see it correct me if I’m wrong, should be McNabb, Holt and Bush
If thats true then is it reasonable to expect to get 1st round picks for guys like Walker, or Manning? or should I pair them up, or am I crazy?

Nice trade! Not to bash the guy you traded but he wanted to get Evans instead of Walker because of that one game. Wow! Good for you he obviously hasn’t watched Walker and Evans’ other games this year. Now to answer your question about trading for picks hold off on that. It is still early in the season and you have a nice squad with potential for some explosive weeks. Be patient and wait to see what happens.

Nice trade. Nice to get it done after all that work. Many trades don’t happen even after working on them for that long.
I agree with hamilton here. You can hold off for a bit on trading for picks and let some of your guys value increase.
