6 Pts all TD's. Decimal point yardage scoring. No PPR. We keep 12 players from the prior year for as long as we want them on our team. We start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D/ST.

My Keepers are:

McNabb, Bulger, Garrard, Willie P., MoJo, Jam Lewis, Fred Taylor, Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, Roy Williams, Lee Evans and Heath Miller. I also have the 1.03, 1.07 and 1.10 rookie/free agent picks.

This is the trade I have been offered. I get Peyton Manning, LenDale White and Wes Welker. I give up Garrard, MoJo and Colston. The biggest hang up for me is MoJo. I think he is going to be top 5 material if given 20+ touches a game. I also wonder how many more years Manning will play.

Would you do it?

I would not do the deal. I'd role with McNabb and Bulger for this year. They had down years last year and I like them to rebound. Love Colston and would not want to give him up…he'd be the hang up for me. Plus you give up MJD for “twinkie White” I think you take a downgrade at RB and WR to upgrade at QB…but I think you'll be fine at QB with those guys

No I would not…hes' trying to trade Manning a year before he feel's he'll begin to come back to the pack. I'd rather have the three players you have.

I say no also…I like all 3 of the players your giving up. I'm currious how Garrard and Porter mesh!!!

No way I do that one Rooster. You'd be giving up way too much. Ya, Peyton would help you at QB, but there's no reason you can't make it through with Bulger and McNabb. You certainly don't need Welker as your WRs are fine…and you certainly don't need the Twinkie. Stay put.

I'm with the majority on this. While I think Manning is an upgrade, taken as a whole you are on the short end of that deal. I really think Garrard could explode onto the scene this season.

Agree with everyone else. No way I do this deal.

The long term value of MJD and Colston are too much to give up. Roll with what you have, and look for another way to upgrade at QB if you feel you need to upgrade. IMO though, Garrard is an undervalued, steady fantasy QB and no upgrade is needed.

I could see it happening but they run the ball a heck of a lot though.

hate to do another “me too”post, but I gotta agree with everyone else

you don't downgrade 2 positions to upgrade 1 unless it is a SERIOUS upgrade or very marginal downgrades

True, but I think he becomes a legit #1 fantasy QB this season as opposed to a backup.

He is trying to sell off White and Welker after what could be there career years!

I'd stay away from both of those guys.

Thanks fellas! Your thoughts pretty much mirror what I was already thinking I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. The funniest thing is I got MoJo and Colston from this guy last year for Rudi Johnson and Roy Williams and 1st round pick swaps where he got Brandon Jackson with my pick so I think he is trying to get me back. I told him awhile ago I wanted nothing to do with HoHo White and Welker. I just think Manning is going to go for 4000+ yards and 40 TD's this year to try and match what Brady did last year so I was thinking huge upgrade at QB. I should be able to platoon what I have and make it work.
