I'm in a 10 team PPR league and have been offered Jamal Lewis and the 5.02 pick in the up-coming rookie/free agent draft for Laveranues Coles and the 2.01 pick. He has Lynch, LJ, MJD, and Lewis at RB and Roy Williams, A. Gonzalez, Berrian, and Hines Ward at WR. I have Ronnie Brown, Thomas Jones, LenDale White, and Justin Fargas at RB and Roddy White, Lee Evans, Laveranues Coles, and Marvin Harrison at WR. I took over a very bad team and have already traded the 1.01 for Ronnie Brown, Lee Evans, Chris Chambers, and Justin Fargas. I also traded Tony Gonzalez (I have Tony Scheffler), Chris Chambers, and my 3.01 for LenDale White and Roddy White. I'm afraid that if I give up Coles and my 2.01 for Lewis, I'm screwed at WR…especially with the uncertainty with Harrison. I countered with Coles and my 2.01 for Lewis and Ward. I've also offered LenDale White, L. Coles, and my 2.01 for MJD and Ward.
My question…Should I accept the original deal if he doesn't accept my counter offers? If so, what do you suggest I do for WR help?

Unless you start 3 rb's that offer does not help you, imo…keep Coles and the high draft pick.
Jones will do just fine behind that off line in NY.
White is still the starter on a run oriented team.
Brown will help more after mid-season.
Fargas should help you through the first half of the season and at worst is a good flex play.
You'll need to get lucky with the WR's as all have potential but are closer the WR3 than anything. Sounds like the guy is gambling on getting Coles in the hope of Favre going to the Jets. Ward is not really an upgrade on the three you have, imo… all of them are in the 70/950-1000/6-7 range. Lewis may give you a few hundred more yards (or not) but the scoring dif is minimal.
I'd withdraw the offer and look to upgrade but we'd need to know your full roster/scoring/starting requirements.

Agree with Tav – that offer does not help your team and Lewis is not a long term solution. It will probably take a few years to rebuild, don't try to do it all at once.

me three . .
I'd offer white and your 2 for mjd in a heartbeat – doubt he goes for it though. I'd do coles and white for MJD too.
