I put this in the trade calculator and it says no, but I figured I’d get a few more responses….

I have a standing offer of Edgerrin James for my Javon Walker. Its complete dynasty with contract years and salary cap. My RB depth isn’t the best but I’m alil hesitant to deal Walker for Edge… Thoughts???

You have the WR depth to do it, but I’m just as hesitant. I think I’d target a younger RB with one of the WR’s.

I agree with Tavaner on this one. I really like Walker, but a younger RB like a Marshawn Lynch or something could make me consider such a deal in this situation. Now is a perfect time to trade for a guy like Lynch, too, but note that that offense could be awful this year and this could cost you some 2007 points until AJ comes back.

That’s where my thought process was too. We start 3 WR’s and so I have the depth to make the move but giving up Walker, whom you have rated as #8 I believe on dynasty WR rankings for an aging RB off to a good start doesn’t really appeal to me. I sent an offer to the guy with Lynch awhile back but he’s yet to respond. I’m really torn as to which WR to deal too because I’d like to deal TO being the oldest guy, yet he’s having a dominating year and model citizen with the new coaches… tough to give up that production…

Trade T.O. in the off-season..he’ll still produce but you could really upgrade with a young RB then.
