at the start of the year I would have taken SJ in a heartbeat, but he is struggling now. I stilll believe the two you are being offered (SJ and RW) are an upgrade over who is being wanted here ( LJ & BE). I would make the trade for SJ & RW for LJ and BE

If Jackson ends up being out for 2-3 weeks (or more) with that groin tear, which looks like could easily be the case, and then returns ineffective, this could come back to bite you. I’d hold tight with what you have, but if you really feel like you want to take a shot on Jackson, I’d give him Peterson back - Chester will be back at some point and take some carries away.

Hey guys thanks for the input. I left a key part out. I really don’t need Steven Jackson right now. I have Maroney to go along with either LJ or Adrian Peterson depending on which one I trade away. Hes also giving me Jones-Drew in exchange for Brandon Jackson. So the deal is now Steven Jackson, Jones-Drew and Reggie Wayne for Adrian Peterson of LJ(one of the 2 my pick), Braylon Edwards and Brandon Jackson. Should I do the deal and what back should I give him? LJ or Adrian Peterson?
Thanks Again

Wow…big decision to make.
Although I love AP I still would have to put LJ ahead of him in my dynasty rankings. so I would trade AP. That makes the deal look like this.
You give AP, Braylon and Brandon Jackson
You receive Steven Jackson, Jones-Drew and Reggie Wayne
I think this depends on your league setup as far as keepers/dynasty etc and also your goals for this year. This does look very appealing long-term. IF your goal is to compete this year while also building a team for a run at the title next year this trade looks very appealing to me. I would have to pull the trigger even knowing that Jackson may be out for awhile.

Come fantasy playoff time, right around the time when LJ and S-Jax are putting up 125 yard 2 td performances weekly…
Steven Jackson, Larry Johnson, and Reggie Wayne on one team??!!. I think it depends on your receivers but I would say come November and December you have two of the top 5 backs in the league with a Top 5-10 receiver to round you out for the upcoming years.
I am worried about S Jackson’s injury, but it’s a worthy gamble. I have peterson in my league with Addai as my other top back, so I wouldn’t trade AP for anything because I feel the AP/Addai combo is going to be nice for the next 5 years or so. But Jackson is still an upgrade from AP for the next few years, Wayne is an upgrade on Edwards probably forever, and MJD is nice to have to back up your guys.
I go with craphonso and pull the trigger with AP!
