I've got LT. I want to trade him to someone who's looking to bolster their team for the playoff run. My playoff hopes are slim. I'm going to ask for a 2010 1st round pick…The pick is likely to be a top 3 next year.
thoughts?

That guy would have to be pretty desperate and have a real shot at a chamionship to give a 1st for a 30 yr old RB. Since that pick is top 3 it doesnt look like he is in the hunt for that championship so I dont think he goes for it…unless he got it from someone else.

Here's how I believe the owners in my leagues would react to an offer of LT for draft pick(s) …
1st Round pick – 0, under no circumstances would anyone offer you a 1st round pick.
2nd Round pick – 50/50, under absolute perfect circumstances, meaning the buying owner believes that LT would give him a decent chance to win the title this year.
3rd Round pick – 75/25, Using the same circumstance as the one listed directly above. LT for a 3rd round pick seems doable.
30 year old RB's hold very little value as there drop-off tends to be very sudden and they become totally worthless overnight. I believe Smitty wrote a very good article on this topic. You should be able to locate it using the search.

I was able to get Shonn Greene and Lendale White for him a couple weeks back. You never know what someone with RB needs will do.

If this is a pure dynasty league, good luck trying to get a first rounder for him. It's tough because we all (myself included) overvalue our players and want what we believe is fair market value. Reality is LT is worth nothing more than a mid to late 2nd rounder. Getting Greene and LenDale for him is a steal. Any young RB you get for him should be considered a deal.
If you do get a first rounder for him, sign me up if someone leaves your league. I would love to be in a league that wants 30-yr old RBs. LOL

DYNASTY TEAM QBs – Favre, Sanchez, Alex Smith RBs – Turner, Norwood, Choice, LenDale WRs – Fitzgerald, Colston, DeSean Jackson TE – Witten, Jermichael Finley K – Tynes ROOKIE SLOT – Crabtree

yeah, the guy rejected my trade. he thought about it for 24 hours and then decided against it. he's actually pretty well versed in FFB, he's in 2nd right now and has probably the best squad. he also has about 4 picks in the first 2 rounds next year (via trades) so he knows he doesn't need them all.
but in the end, he rejected. however, i do have an offer for a 2nd round. looks like i might take it.

I think a 2nd is about the best offer you will find.
