Fantasy Football Xtreme was invited to participate in an annual Expert Poll put on by FantasyFootballEdge.net – This fantasy football poll is comprised of numerous Fantasy Football Informational Sites. Our predictions are highlighted in orange.

The scoring is basically PPR, with 1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving and 1 point per 20 yards passing. All TDs are 6 points except for passing TDs, which are 4 points per score.

Some interesting ratings when you dig into some of these.  It continues to surprise me that Leinart gets ranked as low as he does, and Colston being ranked low (#9 avg) is another head-scratcher – some even have him at #15??!?!!?

Smitty, question for you on one in particular that caught my eye.  Brees being ranked 7th seems low imo, just wondering the thought process on that and why you would have someone like Anderson ahead of him?

This is great. I love seeing where experts have players. You can see who may be over/under-valued.

It also helps to remind us that anything can happen in a draft and ADP is just a tool, not a crystal ball.

My style is impetuous. My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious! -Mike Tyson

With those guys capable of being huge surprises, I moved them up a touch in some of these polls. I think Brees is a stud, but I think D. Anderson easily has the same kind of upside. Easily. He is a bit more risky, no doubt, but these polls are meant to have a little risk, though. I love D. Anderson's upside. Good question, though, but I think fantasy worlds are starting to take Anderson as high as I would, which hurts his sleeper value in 2008. He kind of isn't a great value grab anymore, that's how much his value is climbing. He has so many weapons this year.
