I traded Steve Smith for LJ last week. I want a mroe consisten WR and I dont like smith with VInny or carr at QB
Would like to upgrade at either QB and/or WR. Any thoguhts.
I have GORE, LJ and Peterson.
Everyone in my league are obsessed with WRs and QB’s, so noone wnats to trade them away. Someone told me they may consider Gore for Roy WIlliams. This guy has NO RB’s (Travis Henry, Maroney, Betts).
I dont want the trading dead line (week 10) to come and go and me stuck with 3 awesome RB’s and only 2 spots for them.
Any advice on who i shold expect back fo each? Should I go the QB route or WR route or maybe a 2 for 1 deal?
Steve Smith is on my never ever trade list. How many teams are there in the NFL where a WR is the clear cut, no questions best player on the team ? How many are solid starts regardless of the matchup ? and to trade him for an RB you don’t even need ? ? well..whats done is done at this point, I’d hold on to LJ, his trade value is still low and his schedule is now easy going forward. Gore I would move, that offense is bad, he’s banged up, and they have some tough matchups coming up, and Big Frank has become a matchup guy at this point. DO NOT move Peterson !
here’s an elite WR that people may still be snoozing on : Plaxico Burress…apparently, no safety watches film anymore, because he scores on that same deep post pattern every single game, and the G men don’t face a decent pass defense till the New England game…with matchups coming up against the Bills, Miami, Detroit, Minnesota, the eagles, etc etc….
I’d do gore for plax right now
some other sneaky guys to target: Torre Holt with bulger coming back… Andre Johnson before he comes back and blows up …. I’d think about moving fitz now too, because once boldin comes back, Larry’s numbers will come back to earth a little bit
