am i crazy for not wanting to do this deal? Sjax and ocho for gates calvin johnson grant. it is ppr so its one point per catch plus 1 point for every ten yards. rushing is one point for every 10 yards as well and a td is six. my other wr are austin marshall and crabtree manningham macklin smoss and my rbs are westbrook mccoy mendenhall. my te is dustin keller who when ive played him has done nothing for me. i am hurting so bad at te i started donald lee last week. im in 4th but i have a tie for the second best record. what should i do? id like to switch austin for ocho in the deal if i could and the other rb he has is hightower because he will not give up turner. i know sjax doesnt score but he does put up good numbers in ppr. i just feel im giving up my two best players to fill a hole at te. i need some advice guys, even if you dont agree with me. thanks

i would go after hightower if he offered him to you. hightower is second in ppr leagues in catches for running backs and he scores touchdowns, whereas steven jackson if i'm not mistaken has only one, but im not sure on that one. i would also keep ocho and just trade steven jackson for him and gates if he will do that. if not then my reply was useless. hope it works out for you and you win your league.

You are not crazy. No way that I do that deal. Ocho for Calvin is a downgrade, S Jack to Grant is a significant downgrade and Gates is not the #1 TE any longer. If you are really stuck on upgrading Keller, go after a smaller name TE with upside and trade a weaker WR for him. Someone must have a backup that would be worthwhile. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem using Keller – TE's just don't have that much separation between the top 10 scorers to warrant much value.

stand pat….you're overpaying for a name, Gates still a solid TE, but he's no longer the #1 option in the passing game, VJax now is…the points you are gaining at TE, you will be losing in the production of the other two spots. Try a shefler type off waivers, or make a move for a guy like Boss with good 2nd half upside that wont be nearly as costly in a trade.
