Taylor got 22 carries good for 83 yards against the Bears. Combine that with AP’s 20 carries and you can see that the Min. coaching staff recognizes and is committed to their running game as the strength of the team.

The next few weeks, @DAL, PHI, SDC, @GBP are tough but after that the schedule eases up until week 16 against Was. (OAK, @NYG, DET, @SFO, CHI, WAS, @DEN). Week 15 will be no cake-walk but I doubt Min’s committment to the run will change.

I’d grab Taylor while you can because while AP is special the rookie wall is something that few rookie’s avoid. Another factor is Taylor out of the backfield, a wrinkle that will be added (for both RB’s) as the year goes on.

As for who to drop? Its between Graham and Rhodes (based on an earlier question). Min will run a healthy Taylor ~ I’ll guess a minimum of 15 times a game. Grahams sched is easier but TB is not committed to him ( M.Bennett). Rhodes could take over a dominant run game but even injured L.Jordan got 24 touches yesterday. It is a roll of the dice but with Addai and Barber, one you can afford to take.
