A few thoughts:

Gordon:  going WR-WR in a non-ppr scoring system?  Ugh.  Moreno in the third seems awfully high.

JC:  Colston over Calvin?  Don't think I understand that one.  Calvin is the most talented WR in the league.  Period.  I'm assuming that it was a serpentine draft, of course.

Yarko, Zack and Ballgame:  QBs in the second round?  Come on now.  There is value all over the board at QB.  Not so with other positions.  That's just a wasted pick.

Smitty:  Really high on Brown, eh?  Interesting.  But more interesting than that was taking White over Jennings.  Man, Jennings finished top five in non-ppr leagues last year, and there's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't be top five this year.  I don't see that for White, however.

I don't think you can call any of the strategies taken all that off the wall. Moreno crazy in the third? Not on this site. We expect Moreno to have a Matt Forte like season this year.

I like WR/WR and rookies, it's actually a strategy I'm going to write on this year.

Jennings and White, that's so arguable right there. I hear ya, you disagree, which is awesome, we love that here at FFX, but not of what I see is off the wall. Even the QBs in the second… If someone likes Manning this year, a healthy o line, I'm not going to tell them he can't toss 40 touchdowns.

Only a few picks I really don't like :  Brown in the 2nd, Addai and Grant in the 3rd.  Think those will come back to bite their owners.

Other then that pretty solid gang.

Any draft will have things someone doesn't like. When has a group of 12 people ever agreeded on even a consensus top 12 overall? That's what makes fantasy football so fun.

I will admit, Brown was a reach there, as he could fall, but I like him given the rest of my team.

Yeah, I know you have some serious man-love for Brown Smitty…..I've just been seeing him go so much in the 4th-5th rounds that it just seems to big a reach in the 2nd to make me feel comfortable (for the record I passed on Brown in a startup dynasty @5.04 this year).

RB Ronnie Brown's conditioning looks “outstanding” this off-season?
05-29 12:40 am by FFXclusive – smitty (23)
According to Miami Herald writer Armando Salguero, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano says that Ronnie Brown's conditioning has been “outstanding” this off-season. Brown, who suffered a torn ACL back in 2007, now has a full season of playing behind him.
FFX Fantasy Takes:
smitty: Here is the deal… Brown has huge upside this year, especially given that he is falling into the third-round in some early 2009 mock drafts. In our most recently posted 2009 Staff Fantasy Football Mock Draft, I selected Brown in the second-round. Many have already called the pick out, suggesting that I took him too high. Well, before tearing his ACL at mid-season back in 2007, Brown was second only to Adrian Peterson. He was on pace for 2,265 ru/rec yards, nine 100-yard rushing performances and nine scores. The nine touchdowns wasn't fantastic, but those on-pace yardage totals were insane. Brown was insane! Brown only had 916 rushing yards rushing and 10TDs on 16 starts during his first season back from ACL surgery, but he was heavily involved in that new-look Dolphins attack and I have a feeling Brown is going to turn heads in 2009. I realize some backs don't always bounce-back from ACL tears, but Brown really looked great at times in that Wildcat offense last season. I say reach a bit for Brown this year if you have to, but definitely steal him away from other owners in your league if he falls to you in the third-round!

Vernon Davis' conditioning has looked outstanding the last 3 offseasons as well.
